Everyone but Charlie and Ashlyn has had at least a couple drinks tonight. I cut myself off a while ago because I was not thinking and forgot that while this girl was a prisoner; it also sheltered her from the world of mundane things we take for granted, like alcohol tolerance.

I don’t think she’s ever even had an actual beer before until tonight. So we thought it best to stop her after one. For tonight, at least. I don’t think she liked it, anyway. She seemed like she could not care less. Probably for the best. One less demon for her to have to fight.

I had planned to apologize for the way things had gone down with us before, but I didn’t really want to go into the details in front of a bar full of people. I’ll save that for later tonight, or tomorrow, if she’s still around.
